Mark and Travis put in a long day. They haven't finished the job yet but they worked nonstop from 8 AM to 7 PM. These two are respectful, friendly and professional.

There was a leak on tube connecting TXV. Brazed and reconnected tube. Charged with 410-A refrigerant. Ensured compressor was fully functional.

Ac start up. Got here and the condenser was empty. Found a leak and fixed it charged ac with 12lbs 3oz. Need to return to finish charging ac.

Came out for a prepaid msc ac tune up. Found the ac is a 2004 carrier. Found the fan motor has signs of oil. Found contactor has burning on it. I also found the blower need to be cleaned. Gave options for all of these repairs today. Options were declined. Found our temp split is a little higher due to not having a heat load on home. Found no other issues with ac today. System was working properly when I left the call.

Harry invited us out today for an AC tune up today! The system was installed about 6 years ago and is showing normal wear and tear. There was one thing in particular that caught my eye on the condenser. The capacitor is testing at a 4% drop on the fan side with an allowance of 5%. I recommended getting ahead of the curve by replacing it and adding a hard start to take strain off of the capacitor as a whole. Harry signed up for the MSC monthly plan for his AC, Furnace, and Water heater.

Garage heater not working. Found the gas valve to be turned off. Turned on the gas valve and the unit fired right up. After cycling the unit found that the inducer motor contactor was sticking some times. This caused the inducer fan to remain off even with no call for heat. Recommend replacing the contactor. Returned 2/25 and replaced contactor. Unit is working much better now.

The 2016 amana furnace recieved a 1st year free furnace tune up. They do not have a surge protector. Today I did as 29 point furnace tune up. They did not want to do anything else. The furnace was running when I left.
