Western Heating and FM 100 Give away a FREE AC
Western Heating & A/C is always looking for ways to give back to our community.
Earlier this summer, FM 100 teamed up with Western Heating in search of a family in need of a new AC for the Coolest House on the Block contest. The contest was designed to award a “cool” person that had helped or served in the community with a new central air system. The nominations came pouring in! On July 20, we joined up with FM 100 to surprise our winners, the Fisher family.
The Fishers were nominated by their friend, Nicole. She said, “The Fishers are a hard working family of 7. The husband has been volunteering in the military for over 15 years which has not stopped him from coaching hundreds of children in basketball, softball, football and baseball. The mom works hard at making Utah Child Care Centers a better place for Utah children. The five children are honor students, well-behaved, and always willing to help the next person.”
We later found out that the Fisher’s actually helped Nicole get her AC working last summer, so it was awesome to be able to award them with a new AC and see the circle of giving complete. This was definitely a cool family deserving of the new AC and title, “The Coolest House on the Block!”
