Tips for Improving Indoor Air Quality This Summer

Improving Indoor Air Quality

Being able to keep the air in your home healthy is important. Doing so will depend on how much you can improve the indoor air quality and especially in the summer months. You will want to have air that is breathable and can increase rather than decrease your health. Knowing tips for improving your indoor air quality when the temperature starts to rise is ideal.

Clean the Floors

One of the best ways to help keep the air in your home fresh is by cleaning the floors. Be sure to vacuum the carpet at least once a week for the best results and even more frequently than this if you suffer from extreme allergies.

It’s ideal to mop the ceramic, tile or wood floors weekly, as well. This will get rid of the dust and other pollutants in your home that could deter you from having a higher quality of air in your home.

Create a No Smoking Zone

Smoke is one of the worse toxins to let in your home, and this should be avoided. Refrain from smoking in the house and ask others not to do so, as well to keep your indoor air quality high.

Being able to create a smoke-free environment, this will allow you to have better air quality for your health and your loved ones.
