Hannah - Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
My experience with Ryan Hansen was great! I was disappointed to hear that my repairs would be costly, but he was very helpful and direct, answering my questions without being round about or pushy. He also wanted to make sure I knew about all of the options available to me, and did not treat me like I had no idea what was best. I would be happy to have him back. Thanks, western heating and air for great service!

Friendly and detailed service
Susan - Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
We’ve been using them for about 10 years and always been happy with their service. The technicians are very knowledgeable as well as respectful. The only issue we had this week was they missed their first appointment, which was odd for them. However they explained what happened, apologized and rescheduled. I would recommend them to all my friends.

Cost was excessively high.
Contreras - Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
The part the technician changed in 10 minutes costs $9.00 in HomeDepot. However, I had to pay $244.00. The price was by al means excessively high. You have done work for us in the past and I have been satisfied, that’s why si called you, but this time you lost me as your client.

great service, honest and willing to work with you!
Stephanie - Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
Mr. Gentry was very timely. He did a fantastic job figuring out the problem and taking the extra time to work with your financial needs. He was very hard working, honest, willing to go the extra mile to make sure all of our needs were taken care. Last year when our heat exhanger went out on our furnance the technician was very similar to Mr. Gentry. They took great care to listen to what our needs were and not the company's needs. they even went the extra mile to fund that our 19yr old unit was still under warranty. I will call this company every time!! You can expect, honest, hard working, kind and generous people. We found this to be a very positive experience! two thumbs up for sure!!

Arrived at job and and found system to be operating, after looking into system and doing some testing. Also checking with tech support we have confirmed the pressure switch was bad. Brady or a service tech will be out to replace pressure switch when we revive it. The furnace is operational just won’t kick into high stage.

Installed dryer vent and flapper

Jason B.
installed furnace, coil, condenser with gravel and pad. Installed filter and filter rack 16x25x1 Installed lineset Installed condensate pump and hose Tested system Charged ac As per Jason, we need to send out a service tech to take a look at the furnace, the pressure switch isn't working correctly, and when he tried to order the part he was told they don't make them anymore.

Hunter B.
We showed up to asses why the ac wasn’t working. The homeowner said he went and pushed the disconnect in and it fired right up. Looked everything over and it was running good.

Ac add on

Wayne R.
Gas was leaking by valve. Tightened it up. Bubbled everything. Didn’t find anything else.

Jeff M.
AC tune up refer to health inspection report form. Static is a little high and mostly impart to the return pressure being as high as it is. Ideally we have a return between .05-.15 and given state of duct work it’s over double this has a negative effect on pressures down the line. There appears to be oil around suction line coming from evaporator coil connection but no refrigerant detected this may be just residual oil from install or from some other means temperature split does appear to be way off from what would be expected to with current ambient temperatures we will just want to monitor the equipments performance. Equipment is within manufacture specifications. Would highly recommend putting surge protectors on indoor and outdoor units they have components that are more sensitive to surges than the basic equipment is concerned. Outdoor unit would recommend placing a hard start on board to keep start windings for compressor healthy and strong for the duration of its life. No IA

Complete dual AC tuneup we need to address high static pressure upstairs at a .97 and clean the downstairs blower wheel.

Gabriel B.
I performed an AC tuneup on a Amana system. The system is working properly with no concerns at this time. I changed the filter See health report card for more details.

Wayne R.
Came out found out humidifier bypass cover fell off and showed her the pad how to change and how often. Showed her spring and summer on that. Flow tech is sending signal, but she is still getting deposits and scaling. Need to get in touch with flow tech representative and talk with him. She also wants to know what the warranty is if she isn’t happy with the flow tech.

Tyler B.
I preformed 2 AC tune ups today, the only thing i have to report is the attic condensers cap was reading out of rang due to over amping compressor. I replaced it and suggested 2 hard starts, to keep it from happening again to either of the condensers. Both AC where running when i left.

Taylor G.
Came out for no cool. Found the capacitor was testing bad. It was one we installed in 2019. I replaced under warranty. While here I performed a msc prepaid tune up. I found the static pressure is high due to filter being a 1â€. Found all electrical components are testing properly and working properly see health report card. Replaced filter. Gave options for new water heater and flow tech. Also gave option to get a price for a new system due to age and having issues in the past with system. Options were declined today. System was working properly when I left the call.

Spencer D.
Complete AC tuneup checked for any leaks. Cleaned the blower and sign customer up for one year MSC

Wayne R.
Came out couldn’t get the squeal but foundation dirty filter. Recommended changing every month. If sound comes back let us know.

Kevin K.
Ac start up everything working properly, ac was a bit overcharged so I removed a few ounces.

The lifespan of a home air conditioning system varies depending on a number of factors. However, a typical system should last 10 to 15 years. By performing regular checks and repairs – both large and small – many systems may survive much longer.
When your system is around 15 years old, it's time to start looking at new equipment so you're ready when it's time to replace it. You'll want to learn about the most contemporary, energy-efficient choices available and obtain a price estimate. Western is happy to help you find the right central air conditioning system to meet your home’s needs. Give us a call today!
Here are a few ways you can proactively improve the air quality in your home:
- Change your air filters - air filters are your first line of defense against poor air quality. Change your filters at least once every 90 days, and more often if you have pets who shed.
- Use cooking vents - the kitchen is a major source of indoor air pollution. Gas stoves emit hazardous pollutants such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide. So, when you're cooking, open a window or turn on your kitchen vents to assist in filtering out the air even more.
- Dehumidify your home - mold and mildew thrive in humid and wet environments, causing respiratory problems such as allergies and asthma. With a dehumidifier, you can reduce the quantity of moisture in the air and prevent the formation of bothersome molds.
If you follow these steps and are still experiencing poor indoor air quality, have a professional air quality test done to determine the best steps to solve the problem. Western Heating & Air is happy to help; call us to get started today.
